How to prevent battery draining on your smartphone.

Get rid of apps that are draining the battery of your phone.

    Although, most of the apps that we have on our phones usually drain the battery but there some certain apps that drain more battery than the others. In these articles, I'm going to list some apps that are likely to be draining the battery of your phone and I'm going to provide a simple solution to it.

1. Play store/Google play services

  Play store is an online store that consists of many apps that you can download either for free or purchase.

HOW PLAY STORE DRAINS DEVICE BATTERY:

Play store is a system app that controls all the security aspects of an android device, but there is also an app called GOOGLE PLAY SERVICE, but you cannot find it in the main menu of your phone. it can only be seen in the app division in the setting. GOOGLE PLAY SERVICE has many functions that it performs, so by performing all these functions it drains the battery more than the other apps course it runs in the background every time. see reference 👇👇👇

These are the functions of GOOGLE PLAY SERVICE on your phone;

1. It allows Android devices to controls things like your notifications, whenever an app wants your location, security setting, etc.

2. It also prevents your phone from gaining root access easily through some apps.

With all these functions, (you know the reward for labor is money to be precise) so GOOGLE PLAY SERVICE uses the battery as its own reward for all the functions it serves.

SOLUTION: Disabling of play store and google play services is the only solution to prevent draining of battery by this app. NOTE: I recommend you disable these apps when your phone has reached low battery and also Some phones do not support disabling of google play services but every phone supports disabling of play store. 2. Any keyboard apps.

There are so many keyboard apps like TOUCH PAL, KIKA KEYBOARD, AND CHEETER KEYBOARD ETC. These apps also drain battery course they run in the background even when not in use. 

SOLUTION: Do not install or use any keyboard app in your device using the default keyboard app instead, either it is Google keyboard or Touch pal. The default keyboard app is the best.

3. Launcher apps

     Launcher app is an app that is used to beautify or design the operating system of a device. Launcher app has so many features like customizing themes or setting new fonts etc. Launcher app uses an excessive amount of battery power, course it runs in the operating system of the device every time.

SOLUTION: Simply use the default launcher in your device.

These are examples of launcher apps;

1. X0S launcher

2. APUS launcher

3.Hi0S launcher etc.

4. Netflix

     This app also drains 🔋 the battery, course it runs in the background even when not in use, it also sends a notification about the latest video. So with these functions, it drains the battery faster than ever.

SOLUTION: Disable the app in a setting when not in use.
